The iconic red gates of  'Strawberry Field' as immortalized in the Beatle hit 'Strawberry Fields Forever'.  Strawberry Field was a children's home nearby to where John  Lennon grew up and he often played on the grounds as a child.  The orphanage house was demolished in 1973 but the old red-painted gates remain and have become a place of pilgrimage for Beatles fans.
